3 weeks – 200 cyclists – 4,000 km – millions of carbohydrate calories

Even novices to the world of cycling have heard of names like Alpe d´Huez, Mont Ventoux, Hautacamp or the Champs-Élysées. You can of course associate these names at once with one of the biggest spectacles in the world of sports – the Tour de France.

Our Chef de Cuisine Christian Willrich with his experience and skilled kitchen team has been looking after the Gerolsteiner team for 5 years now. With the conditions changing daily, BROICHCATERING provides both the special diet for the sportsmen and feeds the support team of 40 for a total of 21 days. Numerous events off the track are organized in parallel, such as press conferences and customer  events. But BROICHSPORTSHOSPITALITY also set up events for ARD und ZDF as part of the Tour de France, including the 40th Tour anniversary of Herbert Watterott and the concluding celebration in Paris

 

In addition to the Grand Boucle, as the Tour de France is also lovingly known, BROICHCATERING also looks after other cycling events such as the Tour de Neuss or the Deutschlandtour (tour of Germany).
